If I install Ubuntu, can I eradicate the MS XP operating system?

I want to remove the MS operating system after I install Ubuntu. Is there a problem with this? Is there a procedure?

no this is a very simple procedure, you simply install 'gparted', which is our partition editor, and delete the partition where windows is installed.

alternativly you can simply choose to overwrite windows with ubuntu when you install
