Dual boot menu is gone after I re-install WindowsXP

Asked by Hidden_Cat

I re-installed WindowsXP on my dual boot system because of spyware & now when I turn on my computer the dual boot menu doesn't appear anymore. Is there something I can do besides re-installing Ubuntu to get the boot menu to show up again on startup?

Good thread that, but you could have a look at this - it documents also the use of supergrub - which is a useful tool.
