Wifi not connecting after suspending the screen in ubuntu 16.04

Asked by Rachit Bhatt

It's been a week I've installed Ubuntu 16,04 on my dell vostro laptop, everything worked amazing until I suspended the screen for the option given above shutdown button. From then, it's not showing wifi connections. It's default on airplane mode, I can switch that off. But when I try to make the wifi button 'on' in the networking settings, it pushes back automatically to 'off'.

I've tried restarting the connection, restarting the computer, tried installing drivers, even reinstalled the operating system but the problem persisted.

Please help! Not so techie I'm.
