mic will not work

mic slider will not move. I have tried changing it all the in inputs nothing. mic does work on other computer running 14.4
 but in 16.04 nothing

What is the output of:

wget -O alsa-info.sh http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x ./alsa-info.sh && ./alsa-info.sh

oh man ?? why change this???
 why is it block
it was so much easier when I could just copy and paste it
another thing made harder by over thinking it. now you have to go there to see it ?? and not here??

PulseAudio volume meter capture .. meter shows no sound

sound setting slider will not move up its stuck at 0

PulseAudio volume control is showing the mic is working

two things say no not working
one thing is showing it is working But overall nothing? its not working

still need help on this
 one week has passed if you have no clue on what to do please tell me so I don't keep waiting for, no answer and can find someone who can maybe help.
