Ubuntu

Setup HP OfficeJet 6210

I have managed to setup my HP OfficeJet 6210 printer in Umuntu 6.06 LTS and it is working fine - but I can only control it from the control panel of the printer, I would dearly love to be able to use the front end software that came with the Windows software ( sorry for using that word) but it is quite good.

The printer came with two CD's, one for Windows and one for Macintosh, I have asked HP Technical Support for help, but they don't answer my emails.

Can anyone please help me ?

Sad to say but you can not use the front-end software from Windows.

Hi William,

No the only problem I had was that I wanted to use the software
supplied with the printer, now that I know that is not possible, the
printer works fine and I control it from the control panel of the printer.
