add the word profile is said to speedup the boot speed

I have read that by adding the word profile at the end of the line in the boot menu containing kernel etc will speed up the boot speed of Ubuntu. Is this so and if I recheck that line later after subsequint reboots it is no longer there. any ideas thanks

The word profile seems to re-organise some startup files on the system. Therefore, you only need to do this command once, as you don't need to re-order the files each time you start the machine.

It may make a small improvement on your startup speed.
