printer configuration would not establish printer

when add another printer is selected and applied no printer is added to the printers log as suggested by the examples. although all three steps were taken as illustrated in the example. There is no second printer added to printers and the printer will not print.

so i have a lexmark X2580 and i cant print to it.. it reconizes it but it wont print.. i need a driver.. it is under a plain text driver and it wont let me load other ones please send me the driver peace out
