getting wireless to work with windows driver

im new to ubuntu 8.04 after my vista crashed got the mssg restricted drivers in use so i got the wrapper installed but when i go into the ndiswrapper wireless installation tool it doesnt have any drivers listed when I choose the option install new drivers it says select inf file and lets me brows the system for it
but where do i find it it still has windows vista 32 bit system and I can search those files but cant find it
also im using the ubuntu 8.04 amd64 installation I can acces the internet with a usb and eithernet connection but no wireless
otherwise im sold on ubuntu if i can get this resolved i will befully installing ubuntu and clearing vista off my computer entirely

you cant use a windows driver in ubuntu. Ubuntu has its own drivers. What card do you have? You need the restricted drivers to use wireless device.
