Rocketfish Bluetooth adapter not working

I have a Rocketfish Bluetooth adapter that uses a Broadcom BCM2045B3 ROM chip which does not work with Ubuntu (all versions). This Broadcom chip need to have the firmware loaded on it everytime it is plugged in (which works in windows). How can i get this firmware loaded on it using Ubuntu?

I have tried using the bcm203x module and bluez-utils.
I have tried loading the firmware using windows running in a VM.

This Bluetooth adapter is shown by the OS as being a mouse, keyboard, and usb hub!!
