loading ms software onto linux os

I quite like being free from microsoft but because of work I need microsoft Access. Is there any way of installing my legal copy of microsoft Access onto ubuntu?

There is Wine which gives you some kind of ability to have Windows applications under Linux.

Access seems to be kind of working through latest Wine under Hardy Heron.

I also suggest you try using wine. Access 2002/XP are Gold status and 2003 is Bronze status which mean where should be able to run without too much problem.

If wine doesn't work good enough for you can setup in a virtual machine. You'll need a box version of windows though !
If you're not familiar with virtual machine I suggest you do some research if you intend to go this way.

Although not practical dual-booting might be an option, especially if you already have windows installed.
