How to get started with Ubuntu?!

I have recently installed Ubuntu on my computer. I would like to know how can one go out getting started learning the OS. I want to be able to learn the unix commands and such. How to configure Ubuntu, etc. I was a Windows user and I know nothing about Ubuntu. Please refer to any popular reading about Ubuntu if possible. Much appreciated!!
