Installing ubuntu using wubi

I downloaded ubuntu first, and then I downloaded wubi, but when I tried to install ubuntu using wubi, wubi tried to download ubuntu again instead of using the ubuntu I already downloaded.

If you downloaded the Ubuntu .iso, then burn that to a disc, and run it on Windows. Wubi will automatically run.

Try putting your .iso file (ubuntu image) in the same folder as the wubi installer.
I think it's as simple as that (although I am not 100% sure)

The answer I gave was kind of bothering me so I did a little search and apparently putting the .iso in the same folder as wubi does works.... but only for the alternative cd image ! Just so you know :)

Try using a virtual drive program for windows such as Daemon tools. Mount the iso there and point Wubi in it's direction.
