Is there laptops that come with Ubuntu pre-installed ?
Are they cheaper than the ones that come with Windows XP or Vista ?

Dell laptops can be purchased with Ubuntu pre-installed. I should think that they are cheaper, as you don't have to pay for the operating system.

For other countries, go to the respective website, and enter "ubuntu laptop" into the search field to find the products offered.

Depending in the country you are in, there are sometimes also other companies offering laptops with ubuntu or linux installed. The best thing is to contact the regional LoCo see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamList

I have actually been looking at the Dell website lately, plain and simply to see if the word is true that Dell and Ubuntu are now working together. Here is a link to the us site.
