Ricoh SD Card Reader on Dell laptop

I am unable to get my SD Card Reader to work on my Dell Inspiron 6400 in Gutsy. My search online has come up rather short. Does anyone have a resource or solution I might be able to look into to get this working?

Did you try with multiple SD card ?
(I already had problem where one specific card just wouldn't work in one reader...)

I dual boot with the original Vista that came with it (just in case), and it works fine there. Odd that something works in Vista, eh?
