How do I start MYSQL in UBUNTU? I have intalled the software but am unable to use it.

Hi UBUNTU Expert advisor!
I want to learn SQL so I installed MYSQL 5.0 . I do not know how to start MYSQL using the Terminal.

mysqld -p
should prompt you for your mysql root password and start mysql
