need to add 277m to "/" drive in order to upgrade to 8.04 ubuntu.

Asked by Dwight Deal

I try to upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04 from the internet. As the program tries to load, I get a message stating that I need 1321 M of free space on disk "/". Free at least 277 M on disk "/". How do I do this?

you need to have more space left on your "/" partition, in order for the new 8.04 files to download then install. i reccomend uninstalling some of your larger programs via synaptic or add/remove programs.
