Problem with Compiz and emerald in 8.04

Hi,

Recently installed my nvidia driver, emerald and compiz but when I apply any emerald theme the windows decorations just vanish. Metacity works fine. If this is a problem of beryl then how to install beryl from synaptic in hardy?

beryl has not been in development for at least a year or so now, it merged with compiz to create compiz-fusion (what you have). the emerald decorator engine similary stopped being updated, i recomend that you use normal gtk themes (try looking here http://www.gnome-look.org/index.php?xsortmode=high&page=0&xcontentmode=101 ) and compiz will use them fine
