Phun?

Asked by george_rutkay

A co-worker showed me a Windows version of what he said was a Linux program. It looks like great fun for the kids!

But it's not listed in Synpatic manager, even when I search specifically for it.

Can Phun be installed on Ubuntu Linux?

Hi,

If you are able to find a linux version of this game on the website, then you can install that version, although chances are, there won't be. The other option would be to test WINE, a Windows emulator: http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=313

Linux flavour of Phun does work in Ubuntu, but you just have to open the directory after download and double-click on the file named "Phun" and when the computer asks what to do, you just tell it to Run that file.

Then it runs Phun!
