could not get printer HP Office Jet K80 to print.

Finished installing UBUNTU 16.04 LTS on a brand new SSD. This is to replace Window XP system.
Everything seemed to run great except that my laptop could not get printer HP Office Jet K80 to print (USB connection). I have done these:

-Device URI: hpfax:/usb/OfficeJet_K80?serial=MY287D625QOH

-Driver: HP Fax hpcups (1st try),
-Driver: HP Office K80, hpcups 3.16.3 (2nd try)
-Driver: HP Office K80, hpcups + Gutenprint v5.2.11 (3rd try)

So far no luck; any print job I sent stayed in "process" forever.
Any kind help would be appreciated.

What is the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | grep hplip; lsusb
