desktop top edge panel has disappeared
Binary package hint: yelp
My desktop Top Edge Panel has disappeared. I have no idea why. This has never happened to me before. How do I get it back?
How can I navigate my files or the web without any way to access anything?
Using the latest Ubuntu upgrade, the Heron.

We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at [WWW] https:/

this doesn't help if you can't bring up a terminal. My current position btw.
