my workspace switcher doesnt work. ubuntu 8.04.

it doesnt switch my workspaces anymore. any ideas?

Have you been fiddling with Compiz-Fusion? Often times you have either disabled or enabled something that causes it to not switch.

i added it to the bottom panel and it shows two workspaces but you cant click and change between them. it is always on desk 1.
