Dell Latitude E7240 Ubuntu fan control issues

Hi All,
I just recently installed Ubuntu on my Dell Latitude E7240 and currently experiencing issues with the fan control. It's most likely switching on and off every 2 seconds. I'm very new with Linux and every help is much appreciated.

BIOS updated, i8kutils removed, seems to be ok now, once reached 49C, fan turns on and keeps that temp. Thank you
