sudo command issue

REecently I upgraded to 8.04. Since than shen I use the sudo
command I get the message ``Unable to resolve localhost,''
instead of prompting me for my password. Related issue? My
update manager is unable to effect the updates; it does not
prompt me for my password either.

I solved the problem! I had a spelling error on network manager, under `hosts'.
