Attempting to load Ubuntu 6.10 but unable to load into the TIME area. Computer hangs up. Have tried many times now???

Should say attempting to INSTALL Ubuntu 6.10. Gets hung up trying to load the TIME. Am using Win. XP, want to use Ubuntu with dual boot capabilities.

have you tried using a later release? ubuntu 6.10 is quote old now (the latest is 8.04, it was released a few weeks ago and has long term support). you can get the files/order free cds here: http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu

Problem solved!!!
Only clicked on city to load Ubuntu. When clicking on time, computer hung up; only click on city, then 'forward'. No problem.
