installing ubuntu8.04LTS on microsoft virtualpc 2007

I am trying to install ubunt8.04LTS on microsoft virtualpc 2007.But no options are working.After selecting english as language and entering F4 simple graphics mode is not working.No other options are working.

I would suggest attempting to install to VMWare instead of Microsoft VirtualPC. I have successfully installed Ubuntu onto VMWare numerous times, with no significant errors.

Can you help with this problem?
