CD Burning

I am trying to make a data CD and it is coming up with this error message: Failed to create pipe for communicating with child process (Too many open files).
I don't know what I need to shut down or do? I am running Gutsy 7.10.

Could be a corrupt file. When does it happen? Try opening the burner through a terminal, then cut and past the error here.

It was fixed by a restart. The error was posted in the original post.
