removing unwanted old downloads

Hi...

I just wanted to know what happens to my downloaded GDM themes. (WHERE THEY GO??)

I've downloaded a few GDM themes from WWW.GNOME-LOOK.ORG.

I see they at first go into TMP folder.
I had both the Download window open and the TMP folder open and could see the downloads as boxes in the TMP folder. I closed the downloads window and saw that in the TMP folder the downloads had disappeared.

I just downloaded and didn't extract.

Where have they gone.
Have they been moved somewhere else or have they been deleted??

I've looked through every folder and can't see them.
Is there a spesiffic folder??

I'm baffled.... : (

TMP (/tmp) = temporary ---> files placed here are deleted automatically when they are not in use...
