Links do not open in evolution

Asked by Michèle Heyndrickx

Since i upgradet to ubuntu 8.04 ( NL ) links in my emails ( evolution ) do not open anymore in my webbrouwser ( firefox ) anymore when I click them.
If i rightclick them, i get to options open in browser, and copy. If I choose open in browser, nothing happens. If i copy, i can paste at manually in my webbrouwser after i opened it.

How can I solve this problem.. It would be much easier if the webbrouwser would open automaticly on the wanted website, as it used to do in the 7.10 version of my ubuntu.

Have you checked your settings under your preferred applications (System/Preferences/Preferred Apps) to see if firefox is set up as the web browser and if "open link with default web browser" is checked?

Thanks, i did check the setting before. Firefox was set up as web browser, but "open link with default web browser" was not checked.
Thanks.
