canon lbp1210 printer driver

Hello
 I Have canon lbp1210 printer connected to pc with ubuntu 8.04 with usb cable but it not work.
I traid ubuntu 7.10 but it not work also, i traid to use LPT cabel but it not work
any one have an idea.

You'll find a user contributed HOWTO in getting this printer to work with 7.10 at the ubuntu forums.

I guess this should work for 8.04 also.
