while opening folder it cover the whole screen not able to see panel

Friends,

Upgraded to Hardy after some hicc-ups, still few of the problems like MySql not getting install and not the latest Firefox.
When ever open a folder it cover the whole of the screen, with showing of Maximize, Minimize , and Cross on the Right Hand Side of the screen. It seems press a certain button accidently. I want to go back to the normal mode , where Max, Min. and Cross apear on the usual Right hand Side.

Suggest some soltion for this.

Thanks Smith, All Asking whenever open any folder from my desktop, it covers the whole screen. I have to use ALT+F4 to close it. Want to minimize that things.

Got in Back to normal, by removing the Extra effects.
