Connect to Webdav https

Asked by Garrett Fields

In gusty Under Places -> Connect to Server, WebDav(HTTPS) used to be listed as a service. In Hardy, I don't see it. Any hints to making this work for me again?

I don't know why this was disabled as a quick entry, but if you type in the address manually into the nautilus location bar (click the button next to it to make it editable)

DON't put your username in the address

so something like this:

davs://example.com/folder/foo

NOT:
davs://<email address hidden>/folder/foo

using "custom" under the connect menu might work too (haven't tried it)
If it did work, you could then add a bookmark.

Thank you for your contribution, I am using the campus file sharing system made with ENTG.

The format is: https://entg2.sciences-po.fr/docs/[usename]

I just replaced the http with davs, and it worked, after three years of not being able to use it.

I feel stupid.

But maybe someone can take this situation into consideration, for example in taking "https" in the addresses as "davs".

Can you help with this problem?
