drivers for dazzle video converter

Asked by kevin vaughan

I am trying to use Dazzle DVC170 video converter - as far as I can tell Pinnacle Systems (hardware/software vendor) only supports windows. I would like to use this device to capture AV input.

Call them and tell them you want support! Only when we speak out, do we get the attention we deserve as consumers.

Aside from that, looks like you may have to tinker with wine.

Good luck and best regards!

tinker?
I just installed ubuntu yesterday....
I still operate in windows speak.

On the bright side, the Pinnacle Studio crashes in windows everytime I use it, so having nothing in linux isn't rea;y a loss.

Anyone aware of hardware with linux support that supports converting analog AV to digital for making DVD's.

My goal is converting old home movies to DVD
