Upgrade to mesa 6.5.2

Asked by bram

Hello,

Available from www.mesa3d.org is, since dec 2nd, version 6.5.2

This release, like Ubuntu's current 6.5.1, is a development release.
It fixes 16 bugs, most of those bugs are very grave bugs.

I'm currently using the 6.5.1 on powerpc(ps3) with software rendering.
Using this in conjunction with plib examples show grave faults, ranging
from render faults, to xserver crashes.

I would like to suggest to have Ubuntu upgrade to 6.5.2

Regards,

  Bram Stolk

Maybe we'll have it in feisty. Try looking for someone who've made a package for Ubuntu. Also, please check wether checked bugs are still present in edgy and submit them to bug reports.

As you can see, current version in Ubuntu is 6.5.1~20060817-0ubuntu3, so, it should have many bugs fixed.

However, you can still compile what you want by yourself :).

I've posted your problem to bugs, so, maybe we'll have 6.5.2 in repositories soon.

Can you help with this problem?
