Edubuntu Ltsp Help

Edubuntu (5.10) default ltsp server settings don't have xdmcp installed. Workstations that connect get the grey screen with a large x. Updating
package with synaptic shows gdm installed. I read on a wiki not to use
ltspcfg with the edubuntu release. How do I get the xdmcp running?

Hi,

If gdm is installed and everything else is ok, you just need to check [xdmcp] section in /etc/gdm/gdm.conf. Do you see Enable=true some lines below? It needs to be there and uncomented.
