When you open the keyboard preferences, there is a tab where you can add languages, and there is a button for options. In those options, I have a "layout switch" part where I can activate various keyboard shortcuts to switch between the layouts. Did you try this?

You can also install the language keyboard applet for your panel. Not sure what the package is called as I am a monolingual (stupid) American...

first thanks for your answer
second i already insert the desire language
but i want to switch between the language with alt+shift and not form the upper right place where the clock is
and Francois i enter to keyboard preferences and to layout options tab but i dont know what to do there so if u can be more precise to which option i need to chose that will be great

thanks i found the answer its in the same place you need to chose group shit/lock behaviour and then chose alt+shift thanks allot francois
