Ubuntu (or Pulseaudio) don't detected the micro

Asked by Anto

The sound output works perfectly, but the input doesn't. However, I can see the name of the micro (HDA) and I can use it, but when I want more volumen, in Pulse Audio, it's like the micro doesn't work or just doesn't exist.
If I can not raise the volume of micro I can not talk with anyone. What is supposed to happen, if this did not happened before?
How can I fix this?

Thanks, regards.

Have you tried using alsamixer to crank the volume? Use cursor keys as you expect, use M to un/mute and ESC to exit. Use F6 to change the device manipulated.

I thought if Pulseaudio don't detect the micro I cannot do anything with the volume, but alsamixer just I can volume up directly. I can hear me perfectly.
Sorry for the annoyances, and thanks again.
