Unable to connect to Dongle on Ubuntu 16.04

After upgrading my machine from 15.10 to 16.04, my dongle stopped working. Although its showing while running lsusb

Please help

You already should have the usb_modeswitch and usb_modeswitch-data but you can check by installing them using the normal methods.

Thanks Andrew. I uninstalled and reinstalled both packages and now its working fine. Although version are same.

Before
usb-modeswitch is already the newest version (2.2.5+repack0-1ubuntu1).
usb-modeswitch-data is already the newest version (20151101-1).

Now
