I downloaded songbird onto my desktop but i still have no idea how to run it.

I am not exactly computer savvy and i still have not figured out how Ubuntu works exactly.

I downloaded songbird off the website onto my desktop.

I tried to run the program with wine but nothing happens.

How do I get songbird, or if you recomend another itunes replacement, running?

I'd recommend using "Rhythmbox", which you'll find already installed at your application menu.
