Prorblems activating norton security

I can't manage to install my Norton security, I'm not sure if it's compatable with Ubuntu or if it's me doing something wrong, when I put in the disk it doesn't come up with the down load options just 11 icons none that will install the product, any help would be great!

No you cant install norton security on ubuntu. Its linked with microsoft.
Ubuntu doesnt have many viruses but if you want a virus scanner avg, avast and clam are a few you can use.

oh im sorry they actually have a version for linux but its expensive

you can find clam if you search for it using synaptic
avg and avast just search for them using google just make sure you download the linux version
