Hi,

I rarely find the right printer drivers for my printers. I have found that you either c use either the generic printer drivers, a driver for other printer by the same brand or HP's drivers.

Have you tried experimenting with other epson stylus drivers yet? You won't break the printer by trying other drivers and generally epson are pretty good as keeping their drivers very similar.

The C88 driver is part of the cupsys-driver-gutenprint package. Check in Synaptic package manager (under System --> Administration) if you have that package installed. If so you should be able to install the printer using System --> Administration --> Printing. Follow the prompts and when asked for the driver, choose Epson as the manufacturer and Stylus C88 as the model.

Can you help with this problem?
