Using Virtual Mashine on Ubuntu

I want to install Vista on a virtual mashine on Ubuntu. What is better o use Virtual Box or VMWare Server, and how much
will be loss a productivity of Vista (when playing games on it such as Crisys) when using it(Vista) this way if a computer has enought
powerfull hardware?

Both will be the same because they are both good VM software

You will need to use VMWare Workstation - and now Fusion -, as VMWare Server only gives you an emulated videocard interface.

As I know, all free VM uses emulated video card.

None of the current Virtualization solutions would be able to play a 3D game - especially a demanding game like Crysis. Even the VMware Workstation 6.5 Beta which now offers 3-D acceleration isn't enough to handle 3-D gaming.

I suggest you check out WINE and or Transgamings Cedega which will allow you to install your Windows Games directly on your Linux OS.

Check out http://winehq.org and search for your games to see if they are playable.
