Where to begin helping Ubuntu development?

I have experience with C/C++, python, asp.net, and SQL. I have some experience with Ubuntu, but I'm by no means an expert. I'd like to help out with development, but I can't seem to figure out where to begin. Any help is appreciated.

Well, you are in launchpad, go to the CODE SECTION and search for some project to help with. You could also check the ubuntu website -> development section to get more information ( http://www.ubuntu.com/community/participate )
