my mount to windows dissappeared.

Asked by MCBTunes

Yeah, 2nd little problem...

After doing the updates for Ubuntu(this is a fresh install) I lost my mount that let me into XP. The icon just disappeared off the desktop. So I went Places >> Home Folder >> (under places section.)

it has the following in it:
Desktop, Michael, File System, 38.5 GB Volume

Now I believe the 38.5 GB to be XP. I click it and get this error

Unable to mount the selected volume
>> Show more details
error: device /dev/hda1 is not removable

error: could not execute pmount

I'm not sure what happened but I'm not happy :). I'm not exactly sure it went missing right after the updates, but that is the last thing I did. I have also just installed kubuntu-desktop. The updates I did came from the orange icon on the panel.

Any ideas are appreciated

Mike.
