kmv os installation by dvd disable

I installed kvm on the new ubuntu hardy beta from the default repositories. But paravirtualized option and install OS by dvd are disable, is that suppose to be like that or it's a bug?

Hi fabytes -

Yes those options are disabled. At this time KVM only supports fully virtualized guests, which mean that your CPU must have either AMD-V or Intel-VT on chip virtualization capabilities.

You will need to use an .iso file to install with. If you do not have an .iso, but a physical disk, you can burn an image with most CD writing software (Brasero, K3b, etc.)
