Viewing thumbnails in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Asked by Not Telling

Once again I am finding myself needing to boot into Windows 10 Home to get a simple fucking task done because this piece of shit "leading OS for the PC" is unable to do a simple fucking task...

So, I am backing up my computer and selecting which files I want to backup off my phone. I can't view the thumbmails and I want to make it so I can. So, I opened up the Help application and searched 'thumbnails' and selected the result 'File manager preview preferences'. The document says that it only shows thumbnails for files on the local hard drive because it would be slow to view them over an external device. Fair enough. Thankfully someone had the brain to be able to change this, but unfortunately the fucktard that wrote this joke of a manual failed grade 1 at school so couldn't get the job done for this superior OS. The Help application says "Click Files in the menu bar, pick Preferences and select the Preview tab."... What fucking 'Files' in the menu bar?????

Leave your profanity and petulant tirade at the door. Stick to the facts at hand. It's less reading and we can help you faster.

Do you really think that helps? Do you really want kids reading that stuff? Would you want your kids reading websites like that?

Grow up!

Can you please edit the question so that it is your actual issue rather than nonsense similar to that of a drunk. You look like a complete idiot

I'll bring my petulant tirade with me when using Ubuntu. Stop producing shit software that doesn't waste my time and I'll stop wasting yours.

I don't care if kids read it. They see far more worse than you could imagine. Harden the fuck up wanker.

It doesn't matter anymore about this. I just learn't this humiliating high school project called Ubuntu can't even burn DVD's. I'm getting the job done in Windows.

I don't produce it, its produced upstream by the Gnome team, Mozilla and other creators. Canonical just package it in a nice easy way for users to install and use the system.

I've burned hundreds of DVDs. Never had an issue. Sounds like a PICNIC to me.

Are you going to explain your issue in a civil manner? If you do, we may be able to advise.

I'll bring my petulant tirade with me when using Ubuntu. This is your Statement!!! With this kind of attitude, it is doubtful that anyone will try to answer, anything you ask.

It looks like you NEED to upgrade your interactions abilities with people. Also you NEED to learn much more about the differences between Ubuntu and Windows.

I have been using Ubuntu since 2009. The only reason I need Windows, is to use Coupon Mom. Ubuntu will not run it.

michael, I don't care. Remember I have Windows 10, which can get the job done.

HAHAHAHA a Linux loser telling me I need to 'upgrade' my interactions abilities with people LOL

I DON'T need to learn at the end of the day. I know enough, that is, Ubuntu is a total piece of shit in comparison to Windows, even with Windows 10's spyware built it. Why do you think people are happy to pay money for it over using Ubuntu for free? Because 1. Its better and 2. They don't have to be constantly surrounded by losers such as yourself.

I don't care why you use Ubuntu.

Don't bother. He's not worth the effort. Such a poor attitude. Truly sad.
