Printer keeps ejecting pages without printing
After updating to Ubuntu 16.04 I started having problems - the most recent of which is that the printer just quit. I found in another of these forums how to download and install HPLIP and I have done that. Now the printer scan function works perfectly, but when I try to print it prints a single line and then starts ejecting paper until I either turn it off or it runs out of paper.
With HPLIP I have connected via USB cable (still don't work), via wireless (still don't work), and via cable directly to the router (and it still don't work). It tells me in all three configurations that it is connected, but it won't print anything more then the one line and then begins ejecting paper until it runs out (I only load about 7 sheets at a time now.)
As to the equipment, I am using an old HP with an AMD A4-3400 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Gaphics x 2 processor, a Gallium 0.4 on AMD SUMO2 (DRM 2.43.0, LLVM 3.8.0) graphics, and a 64-bit OS type. The disk partition is 25.2 GB.
Any suggestion as to getting it to work properly would be much appreciated.
