Dual Boot

Asked by Laurie

I have 2 Hard drives one with Ubuntu 16.04lts & a second with windows 7 ultimate both 64bit. I want to dual boot with out having to reinstall either to a single Hard drive. at the moment I have Ubuntu as primary which I use most often. But my wife prefers windows 7. When she wants to use windows I have to disconnect Ubuntu Hard drive & plug in windows Hard drive. Can someone send me a step by step script or a program to download which will enable dual boot choice please.
Cheers,
Laurie

If you plug both drives in. Even if GRUB is not configured you can use the BIOS to select the boot device. You don't have to unplug anything at all.

Until you get GRUB configured you can set the Windows drive to default boot and use F11 at boot time to manually tell the BIOS to boot from the Ubuntu drive.

Eventually you will have Ubuntu as the boot drive and Windows will chain load off of it. This will be the ideal setup.

Can you help with this problem?
