System is hanged Frequently

Dear Sir,

 I am using Ubuntu 14.04 operating system . and also i have build all java developer based software on the machine.
 My system architecture is mentioned below

Processor :-Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G3240 @3.10GHz (2 CPUs)
 RAM :-8 GB
 HDD :-1 TB

But , When i start system and run STS that time system is hanged out.
          - When i am trying to monitor system using system monitoring tools that time showing heavy memory usage of following service.
               1. Python
               2. hud

Please give me solution/suggestion on the same issue as soon as possible.

If you use a non-compoziting session like LXDE, is it OK?

Install the lxde package and log off, log in to the LXDE session. Is the issue still present

Dear Sir,

I have install lubuntu lxde features and It is help for me. but GUI is very difficult to used the system and also some install-able software is not showing in the program tab.

Any other solution to fix it the same issue

Most of the time when I started STS that time System is hanged not working.
Thats why we are not able to work on sts .

Please give me solution of STS software setting in Ubuntu machine because all software are working fine but I am facing issue while STS Using.

Does the system hang under LXDE?

The point of installing it was to test so the fact that the GUI is hard to use is irrelevant. Open your applications and test. Is it OK?
