Wily is EOL and no longer supported by the Ubuntu community in any way. I suggest you wipe the install off and do a clean install of Xenial. Xenial is LTS and supported til April 2021

One reason for this to happen is probably that secure boot mode is on, and hence the third-party drivers(are they?) won't work. Turning it off worked for me, but haven't been able to know the reason for the same yet. Can anybody help with that?

Hi Vaibhav Bhosale,

as per my knowledge secure boot mode is on will affect when dual booting is their but as per my system only ubuntu is running. correct me if i'm wrong. if what you are saying is correct i will check that too.

regards,
gbiradar

Yes, it would affect dual boot. But, since I am using only Ubuntu, I did not face that trouble.

Can you help with this problem?
