Upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04

I have a Mac mini dual boot with Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS. When will I see the option on the Software Updater app to upgrade to 16.04 LTS? Thanks.

When 16.04.1 is released next month then your system will see the new release. Ubuntu always waits for the first point release to upgrade the previous release.

You can force it to happen now with:

sudo do-release-upgrade -d

And you will jump to Xenial
